This page provides an overview of changes deployed with the Hitrak software update for the week ending Sunday, August 18th 2024. 

This was a short release cycle with a focus on adding support for business continuity, improving Hireage functionality and reporting, and further visual improvements in the Admin Portal.

Business Continuity Support

Capability introduced to generate Driver Run Manifests and Rating Extracts, to facilitate manual Operations and Invoicing if the system becomes available for any reason.

Documents can be generated and stored on an independent file system for provision to users in the event of an outage.

Deactivate Organisations

Removed a restriction preventing Organisations with any non-invoiced consignments from being marked inactive.

Consignment Search

Sender/Receiver Search tab: Customer field added to filter options.

Consignment Tabs UX

Minimum Height applied to all tabs for consistent appearance when navigating through tabs.

Freight tab: Consistent size and shape of Hireage section applied, whether or not qty is entered.

Timeline and Endorsements tabs: Consistent date sorting applied.

Attachments tab: Misaligned Browse button corrected.

Dashboard UX

Updated layout for Consignments Created widget to support displaying larger numbers.

Invoice Notes field

The recently added Invoice Notes field is now available for Manual Invoicing and Xero-integrated Hitrak users.

Endorsement Accuracy

More accurate descriptions for system Endorsements when a consignment could not be automatically priced.

Driver App Hireage qty mandate 

Setting to ensure Hire unit "Quantity retrieved" is entered before delivery is confirmed.

Document field updates

Run manifest: Receiver reference, Page title and total Hireage qty added. 

Hireage Detail extract: Receiver Reference added. 

File name updates

Run Manifest file name now includes Dispatch Group.

Consignment Rating extract file name updated to reflect pricing confirmed status and applicable date range.
